Happy New Year 2010...a great stuffed mushroom recipe I found years ago when spending countless hours looking for better tasting foods more similar to what might be served at the higher end restaurants. These are a good change to the standard sausage & bread stuffing mushrooms we usually find. Quick and very easy to make ahead; we just about always have the ingredients on hand. Make these up for a party and place them in a electric skillet on 425 for 10-15 minutes then turn to warm (200) degrees. They will disappear in no time.
1 c shredded Swiss cheese, 1/4 c mayo, 1/4 c grey poupon, 3 oz. cream cheese, 6-8 oz lump crab meat, 1/2 package Good Seasons Italian Dressing mix (dry). 2 pounds of Mushrooms, stems removed. Fill ahead of time up to 2 days. Heat in 425 oven for 15 minutes when serving at home.
