Saturday is Miami East Sports Boosters Auction Night, this is a major fundraiser for our Athletic Program and it is such a enjoyable night, seeing the alumni celebrated and inducted in to Hall of Fame, many present and past sports alumni contributing to the better of our participating athletes is such a honor. This year one of the sports teams that is volunteering their services during the meal is the Miami East Girls Softball team, and all of the athletes in the school were required to contribute a 2 litre of soda.
Most parents and previous graduates donate a item of some sort to Auction off in hopes of gaining additional $$$ for the boosters in their support of Uniforms, Equipment This year Warner and I have donated a Washington Drape Aladdin Lamp (from our collection) with a Electric Burner, and Customized Aladdin Shade with the Viking Mascot. Go Vikings!!!!!!
